WHAT IS HYPNOSISHypnosis or Hypnotherapy
simply means that the therapist uses suggestions to help with the patients
problem. We give these positive suggestions to the persons unconscious
mind while they are in the trance state. While in the trance state the
person is much more relaxed than normal, both physically and mentally
and their unconscious mind becomes more open and receptive to positive
suggestions. The feeling of Hypnosis is a wonderful feeling similar to
the sate we experience just before we fall asleep or just after we wake
up from sleep. Everyone can be hypnotised and no-one can be hypnotised
against their will, nor can anyone be made to do anything against their
will. Even when hypnotised a person can still reject any suggestion that
they find inappropriate. Hypnotised persons remember what is said or what
is done during a hypnosis session. STOP SMOKING WITH HYPNOSISOur one session approach to smoking cessation is a rapid and effective method that uses direct suggestion. This is a tried and tested method for stopping smoking that practically eliminates the craving for nicotine and motivates the person to remain a nonsmoker. None of us were born smokers, it is a habit that had to be learned and what is learned can be unlearned. If a smoker would think back to when they had their very first cigarette, they would have memories of coughing and spluttering and the feelings of nausea that they experienced back then. So why did they persevere until they had mastered this unhealthy and now antisocial habit? Whatever caused the smoking habit to take a grip in the first place is really of no importance now, what is important is that the PERSON wants to stop smoking once and for all.
