Famine Pot (Past Plantation)
In Moville in a narrow road or lane, just above Market Square, leading
N.W. very short distance from main road to Greencastle. This large,
copper pot, similar to many others seen in fields about the countryside
used as drinking troughs, is said to have been in use in Famine
Days for preparing food for the starving people. Later note:
This famine pot has been removed. (If anyone has any information
on the pot we would be happy to hear from you.)

St. Columbkille's Well (Early Christian)
At the land side of the promenade skirting th recreation ground
at the S.W. of the centre of Moville. This well is now built up
with cement in which is a spout with continuously flowing water.
