County Donegal - One of Ireland's most scenic

Donegal has been voted as Ireland's second most scenic county. According to the second annual Irish Heritage Survey details of which were released recently, Donegal is second only to Kerry.

According to the poll the majority of Irish people (at 65.3%) believe the architectural and heritage contribution made by current generations will be judged positively by generations to come and almost 4 in every 5 people feel greater promotion of heritage sites to the public is needed.
