Canadian Ambassador visiting Inishowen
Canadian Ambassador Loyola Hearn will be in Inishowen this week to carry out a number of engagements. Mr Hearn will meet with Donegal Economic Development Officer on Wednesday 21st before being accompanied to Buncrana with the town's Mayor Cllr Nicholas Crossan and Don McNeill of the Ulster Newfoundland initiative before travelling to Ballyliffin to play a round of gold at the world famous course.
Mr Hearn will then meet representatives of the Royal Navy Association before returning to Buncrana to attend a traditional music session in O'Flaherty's Bar on Main Street.
On Thursday 22nd he will travel to Greencastle where he will meet Andrew Ward and members of the Foyle Fisherman's Co-Op as well as visiting the plaque for Thomas D'Archy with local historians Sean Beattie and John A McLaughlin.
