New books to acknowledge work of late Greencastle architect Mr Liam McCormick

A set of books on Liam McCormick's 'Seven Donegal Churches' will be unveiled at the MacGill Summer School in Glenties on Monday 25th July. The book launch will be performed in St. Conal's Church in the town by former TD and architect Liz McManus. Ms McManus worked for the late Greencastle architect while some of his iconic churches were being built.

Mr McCormick designed seven churches in Donegal including St. Aengus Church - Burt, Star of the Sea - Desertegney as well as churches in Milford, Murlog, Creeslough, Glenties and Donoughmore.

The launch will be accompanied by an exhibition of photos of Mr McCormick's churches by Fleming Rasmussen that runs until 30th July.
