Play by Coronation Street scriptwriter at the Wee Hall Culdaff
Coronation Street Scriptwriter, Caroline Hayes, Fantastic play
Skirmishes, is being held at the Wee Hall In Culdaff Thursday 14th
July, and tickets are selling fast.
As part of the Earagail Arts Festival this outstanding production
by Ballybofey's Balor Theatre has received rave review after rave
review. Skirmishes is a hilarious and poignant tale about family
conflict. An elderly lady who is dying, is nursed by her begrudging
daughter Jean who believes she is entitled to her mothers house.
When younger daughter Rita comes to visit, the sisters differences
and long standing resentments surface. There mother, however, holds
the trump card.
Presented by the Balor Rep. this thought-provoking drama is directed
by Kieran Quinn and stars Caroline Bell, Lorraine Kindelan (Laverty)
and Geraldine Hughes.
The combination of the powerful storyline and exceptional acting
makes for a hugely enjoyable evening's entertainment. The play starts
at 8.30 pm. on Thursday at the Wee Hall, Culdaff.
