SEPTEMBER 2010

Performers Needed for Irelands Scariest Show!

Calling all wannabe ghouls! Do you fancy spending your evenings frightening the proverbial out of the local townsfolk? Does the thought of bringing tears to a grown man’s face bring a smile to yours? If the answer is ’yes’ then get your undead body down to Buncrana’s The Loom of Doom!

Following on from the success of last year’s Haunted House, Phil Ruddock and Pauric Gallagher are back with a bigger, bloodier, more terrifying show than ever and they need your help to make it happen.

The floor plan for this October’s event, which is taking place in the old Fruit of the Loom factory at Ballymacarry, will be more than four times larger than last year- that’s almost twice the size of a football pitch - and as many performers as possible are urged to volunteer their undead services.

Anyone can join in and no experience is necessary, though the ability to inspire terror and an enthusiasm for the macabre would be an advantage.

By signing up not only will you be guaranteed a fun month of screams and spookiness, you’ll also be helping put Inishowen on the map for all the right reasons. In terms of both scale and size the attraction will be the biggest and scariest of it’s kind ever to hit Ireland.

Last year’s show attracted approximately 4000 visitors, with people travelling from as far as Scotland and Cork to see what all the fuss was about.  This time round an estimated 10-15,000 thrill seekers are expected to descend upon Inishowen in search of a scary good time.

The Loom of Doom will be running nightly from October 8-31. Those interested in taking part should contact Phil on 0872600980 as soon as possible.
