Derry date for RTE talent show auditions

The All Ireland Talent Show is returning to RTE for a third series this autumn and auditions will be held at Derry's Everglades Hotel on Saturday 11th September. Five open auditions will be held around the country as the search begins to find the most talented act in the country. The top act will walk away with a phenomenal €50,000 prize as well as bringing glory to their region.

Earlier this year 13 year old Chloe Coyle from Castlederg, Co. Tyrone scooped the title for the North. Chloe did her mentor Dana proud and won the hearts of the Irish nation with her moving performance of 'The Water is Wide'.

The All Ireland Talent Show is one of the Top 10 most popular programmes in Ireland with the last series featuring twice in the Top 10 most watched television programmes in Ireland for the first half of this year.

Dana said: "Whatever your age, whatever your talent it's time to take centre stage. All are welcome to turn up to the open auditions on the day."

Registration for each audition opens at 7.00am and closes promptly at 3.00pm. All applicants under the age of 18 must be accompained by a parent/legal guardian. The audition for the North will be held on Saturday 11th September at the Everglades Hotel, Prehen, Derry.
