Good news for Moville Community College

Moville Community College will receive €48,000 for their library. They are among five schools in the county taking part in a €164,000 jackpot made available from the Dormant Accounts Fund and the RAPID Leverage Fund.

Anthony Doogan, Moville Principal said "We're absolutely thrilled and delighted. We put in an application for external play areas and the library. In September, we got approval for the play areas now the library has got the go ahead. It's extremely welcome, as the library room is there, but there's nothing in it. This funding will allow us to put in furniture, computers, Internet facilities, fully stock it with books and extensive audiovisual library. Each subject department is looking forward to building up a good stock of resource material, which will help everyone enormously in the years to come".
