Daniel O'Donnell to play in St. Aengus' Church

Daniel O'Donnell made an announcement at the Christmas Concert in Letterkenny's Aura Centre last week, that he will play a special one-off concert in St. Aengus' Church, Burt next April.

The concert will be held on Monday 20th April and tickets go on sale on 24th January 2009. Daniel promised local curate Fr. Michael Porter more than a year ago that he would play a concert in Burt chapel. His manager Sean Reilly said "Daniel has played in many churches over the years, but never in St. Aengus' in Burt. Daniel is taking five months off at the start of next year, but he's breaking from that to do this concert and a couple of other fundraisers.

Sean said "It would be a concert of inspirational, sacred music. Daniel had recorded three albums of inspirational music so he will have a big repertoire to draw on."
