Buncrana to Rathmullan Ferry Service Returns
The Swilly Ferry is back once again in one of the most anticipated
and welcomed returns of the summer.
This top tourist attraction is considered as a true gem in the
peninsula and is loved by locals and visitors alike. The ferry travels
along the stunning Swilly between the bustling towns of Buncrana
and Rathmullan, both of which boast top attractions in themselves.
The journey which takes approximately 25 minutes allows passengers
to sit and relax and take in the majestic Swilly cutting down the
longer journey by car. Best of all no advance booking is required
and fares are paid on board so just hop on and you're away!
The ferry is operated by the Greencastle Ferry Company and is an
initiative of Donegal County Council.
