MOVILLE CAN NOW BE SEEN ON GOOGLE EARTH

Moville has now become one of the first Inishowen towns to have clear satellite imagery on Google Earth. The website has now extended its coverage of the Inishowen peninsula having previously only having images of Derry and Muff.

Photos of homesteads and fields taken from space now include not only Moville but also areas such as Redcastle, Culdaff, Gleneely and Carrowmena. The images also show the coastline from Caratra and Tremone heading towards Kinnego Bay.

Google Earth are still currently working on the possibility of uploading further satellite images for the whole peninsula.
