Inishowen Schools sought for "archaeology adventure"

Inishowen national school students are being sought to take part in an exciting and energetic archaeology adventure on television.

Ireland - Dig It! is a brand new RTE series in which contestants need to use all their knowledge of local and national history and archaeological discoveries to win a place in its grand final. The overall winners will win a unique school trip for their entire class.

All budding archaeologists who want to take part in the series should go to the website www.rte.ie/irelanddigit and help the Bronze Age Warrior retrieve the possessions that have mysteriously gone missing from his grave. If you find all the missing treasures, he'll give you the Dig It! "secret code" that you need to download your application form. Send your completed forms to Ireland - Dig It!, 6 Wilton Place, Dublin 2, no later than April 30th.
