Department to Re-Issue Gold & Diamond Mining Licensing Notice

A notice informing the Inishowen public is to be readvertised by The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. The Department intends to grant prospecting licenses for diamonds, gem minerals and gold in North Inishowen to Grosvenor Exploration and Mining Services, a County Louth based prospecting company.

Due to local criticism of the timing of the advertisment The Department will republish the notice in local press and locals will not have more to time to lodge any objections that they might have.
