Moville Community Celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary

Moville Community College is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year and as part of the celebrations are holding a number of up and coming events the highlight being a Dinner Dance at the Redcastle Hotel on Friday 6th May at 8.00pm. The evening will feature the launch of a music DVD and Ceol na n-Imirce CD produced by Transition Year Students at the College.

All members of the school community including current and past pupils, parents and members of the local community are invited to attend. Music for the evening will be provided by the Cavanagh Brothers and tickets are available from the college and local outlets and are priced at 30 euros each.

The anniversary celebrations get under way this Saturday (30th April) with a Golf Classic at Greencastle Golf Club for teams of four (120 euro per team). Tea times are available by contacting the College on 074 93 85988 or the Greencastle Golf Club on 074 93 81013.

The celebrations will conclude with a 10k Fun Run/Walk/Jog on Friday 20th May which will set off from the College at 7.00pm (registration at 6.00pm). This is a non-competitive event for those aged 15 years and over. There is also the opportunity to enter relay teams of three (3k, 4k, 5k). Entry is 10 euro for 10k and 5 euro per person in teams. Fancy dress is optional with refreshments and novelty prizes presented directly afterwards in the College.
