JANUARY 2007
Moville Community College Presents 'Blood Brothers'
Moville Community College's production of Willy Russell's 'Blood
Brothers will open on Wednesday 24th January and run to 27th January
inclusive beginning at 8 pm sharp on all nights with a running time
of approximately 3 hours, which includes an interval and a draw
after each performance. The musical which is already sold out, will
be held in St. Eugene's Hall, Moville.
Set in Liverpool, 'Blood Brothers' tells the tale of twin boys
separated at birth only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a
mother's haunting secret. The pressures of superstition, class and
economics trap them both and ensure their fate. This musical is
a very well known and much loved production, which ties together
the two genres of tragedy and comedy into an easily told story of
truth, lies and pain.
Both teachers and students have been busily preparing and rehearsing
since September and are very much looking forward to getting to
the stage to share it with the public.
The College would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge
and sincerely thank the following businesses for their sponsorship
of the musical: Bonner Windows, The Cosy Cottage, Centra, Maurice
Holmes Buses and Moville Practice Group.
