Inishowen young people are invited to take part in Millennium
Forum's Summer School
The Millennium Forum's Summer School, 'Five Fantastic Days in July'
will take place from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July. Now in
its third year, the Summer School is aimed at young people, 16 plus,
who want to pursue further studies in drama or who are interested
in a career in performance. Drama is the main focus of the school.
During the five packed days of the Summer School, the participants
are involved in a variety of complimentary experiences ranging from
Acting and Casting Workshops, Movement and Physical Theatre, Street
Theatre and Technical Theatre.
Young people in Inishowen who wish to pursue a career in drama
or the performing arts have been invited to take part in a special
event. Because the numbers are limited to twenty, each young performer
gets individual attention while at the same time benefiting from
the group experience.
Directors and Principal Facilitators, husband and wife team, 'Richard
Huw and Janice Laurie, both graduates of the Guildhall School of
music and Drama,. Richard is a regular on 'Silent Witness' and 'Holby
City' and Janice runs Dramalab, the couple's acting school in London.
The Millennium Forum Summer School gives young actors and performers
exactly what they need at a crucial stage in their development"

Co-ordinator of the Summer School. "You can see this happening
even by the end of the first day. Janice and Richard create such
a professional, insightful and non-competitive atmosphere for the
young people to work in. Real learning takes place and performances
