Children asked to audition for Henry the Elephant radio show
Children across Inishowen are being given the chance to take part
in a radio show by auditioning for Henry the Elephant - a new drama
series that will soon be aired on Inishowen Community Radio this
summer.
Station manager Jim Doherty said the Carndonagh based station is
on the look out for talented children who can take part in the project.
He said, "ICR want to audition primary school children from
across the peninsula to find the best of our local young acting
talent. So if you fancy yourself as the next Abigail Breslin read
on." The 12 part series follows Henry and his friends on their
adventures around the North West. From Culdaff beach to the Giant's
Causeway, each programme documents the fun things the gang gets
up to on their travels. This is a fantastic opportunity for the
children of Inishowen to star in a radio drama aimed specifically
at them and involving the local area.
The show hope to hold auditions in schools across Inishowen throughout
the month. If you would like to be involved get in touch with Trudy
on ICR on 0749329105 by Wednesday 14th March.
