Big win for Moville Family

Paddy Harkin and family, O'Gara Villas, Moville were celebrating after their win of €51,700 on the National Lottery's Winning Streak TV Gameshow last Saturday, 12th January. The prize included the value of an Around the World Holiday and a Holiday to Turkey.

Paddy, who was playing in place of his wife, May, said "I'm happy with what we got and it was good to get to spin the wheel at the end of the show. We didn't have a target amount before we went down, so what we won was very nice."

Nineteen members of the Harkin clan went down to Dublin on Friday and stayed overnight at the Montrose Hotel, before going to the RTE studios. "I was a bit nervous alright, but they do give you a rehearsal", said Paddy. The family have yet to decide what they will do with their winnings but will probably take a holiday. Paddy added that the people of the town had been 'great' wishing them well on their good fortune.
