Did you dance and find romance?

Did you go dancing in Inishowen during the halcyon days of the showband era? If you were one of those who danced in one of Inishowen's six ballrooms then Inishowen Community Radio would love to hear from you especially if you met your future partner at the Borderland Ballroom in Muff, the Plaza Ballroom in Buncrana, the Atlantic Ballroom in Ballyliffin, the Culdaff Arms Ballroom in Culdaff, the Lilac Ballroom in Carndonagh or the Metric Ballroom in Burnfoot.

The Inishowen radio station is putting together a series of programmes documenting the history of these famous venues of entertainment and will be talking to the showband singers who played at these venues, the members of relief bands, the doormen, bouncers, cloakroom attendants,snack bar and mineral bar employees and to the ballroom owners.
