51st Eurovision Song Contest

The time has come round again for the Eurovision Song Contest, and I know you will all be glued to your TV screens.

On Saturday 20th May at 8pm on RTE 1 the 51st Eurovision Song Contest can be seen. Live from the Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, 24 countries will compete in the final, the top 10 scorers in last year's competition, 10 who qualified through the semi-final and the four largest players in the EBU who automatically qualify each year, the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Commentator for RTE Marty Whelan. Hosted by Maria Menounos and Sakis Rovas. Brian Kennedy hopes to qualify for the event to represent Ireland. Good Luck Brian.
