Storms Lash Inishowen

People all over the country were waiting for the winds of up to 100 mph which battered through Inishowen on Tuesday 11th January. The winds were accompanied by wintry showers of rain and hail. Many places were left without electricity. Although everyone was expecting the worst, our area of Inishowen was very fortunate. The result of the storm was that some of the shore path was broken up in places.

Here are some photographs taken from the Shore Path at Moville in the aftermath of the storm, on Friday 14th January, at 9am.
