1st Annual Ploughing Competition

The first Annual Ploughing Competition which was held on Saturday 15th January at Carrick Farm, Moville, was a very successful day, and enjoyed by all who attended. This was helped by the good weather.

There were ten categories from World Class down to Novice Ploughing, also Horse Ploughing and Loy Digging (Hand). Competitors came from Donegal and Co Derry. Moville Pottery presented the winning competitors with the prizes.

The Inishowen Ploughing Association Committee are very enthusiastic for next year which they believe will be bigger and better.
