Young Entrepreneurs at Carndonagh Community School

The Business & Enterprise Module in Transition Year helps students to become more self confident, improving self-esteem, encouraging creativity, entrepreneurial and life skills. There is no doubt that this happens with the students in Transition Year at CSS.

Four innovative mini companies emerged from the class and it was a great exciting challenge setting up a business from scratch. The four innovative mini enterprises were:-

"Logsters" - Produced festive and decorative Christmas Logs.

"Calendar Girls" - Provided a service of producing personalised Calendars.

"Sweet Sensations" - Produced cones filled with a mixture of sweets and chocolates.

"Static Storm" - Produced 3D fabric pictures.
