3.John Toland (1670-1722). English writer and noted Pantheist. Native of Clonmany.

4. Charles Macklin or MacLaughlin (1690-1797). Famous Actor and Dramatist. Native of Culdaff.

5. George Vaughan Hart (1752-1832). Lieut.-General, M.P. for Co. Donegal 1814-1832.

6. John Gwyn (1754-1829). Founder of Charitable Endowment Institution, Londonderry. Native of Muff.

7. Frederick Young (1785-1874). General, Indian Army. Founder of the Ghurkha Regiment . Member of Culdaff family.

8. Sir Wm. M'Arthur (1809-1887). Lord Mayor of London in 1880. Native of Cloncha (Malin).

9. Sir Robert Montgomery (1809-1887). Governor of the Punjab, 1859-1865. Native of Moville.

10. Josias Leslie Porter (1823-1889). Moderator of the General Assembly of Irish Presbyterian Church, 1875. President of Queen's College, Belfast, 1879-1889. Native of Burt.

11. Agnes Jones (1832-1868). "Irish Florence Nightingale". Native of Fahan.

12. John Carleton (1846-1934). Oldest Commissioner of the Salvation Army and originator of its "Self-denial" Scheme. Native of Fahan.

13. Rt. Rev. Sir H. H. Montgomery (1847-1934). Bishop of Tasmania, 1889. Native of Moville.

14. Sir Henry Thompson (1861-1925). Major General Commanding British Medical Services in Great War. Son of last resident Rector of Clonmany.
