Local candle maker Paddy
McGhee has a section of the shop from where you may purchase
his exquisite works in wax. These vary from small beautifully
formed candles, some scented with essential oils,
to remarkable and unique light boxes. You are welcome to
commission your own design.
Another section of the shop
displays the works of Pat Love. She is a member of the Design
Council of Ireland and is widely applauded for her lovely hand
made cards, knitwear and exclusively designed bags, from
recycled material.
Jean Beresford makes fabulous
celebration cakes, to order. They have to be seen, to
be believed!
Traditional basket weaver
Brendan Farren has a display of baskets and creels either
to purchase there and then, or made to order.
Whether you are looking
for ethical produce or just looking for something different
the FARM SHOP is the place to come. It is a small, but
very friendly establishment, where you will get the warmest
of welcomes. Pay us a call when you visit Moville.

The Farm Shop is a cooperative providing local
producers with an outlet for their goods. As well as stocking a year
round supply of Organic fruit and vegetables it is the place to buy
local crafts and home produce.
Jo & Geoff Fowler keep a store
of dried, canned, fresh and frozen organic and whole foods second
to none in the area. The sale of these goods enables THE FARM
SHOP to be a showcase for many other local delights.
There are local fruits and
vegetables grown by 3 or 4 dedicated organic growers, including
Stephanie & John Stephens, of Greencastle Organic Farm, honey
from Inishowens own Patrick McCartney whenever its available,
pot plants, herb plants and many other seasonal offerings.
Jo makes jams and jellies from Stephanies
fruit, marmalade and chutneys from the fruit they sell in
the shop, as well as lemon curd and Inishowen honey mustard.
The Stephens are raising cattle to sell local beef and
Jo has what she believes are the only mountain pigs
on Inishowen enabling them to sell direct to the public free
range, outdoor reared pork. By May 2005 they hope to
have their own pork sausages.
They have Organic Aberdeen Angus beef
from Omagh, chicken and organic eggs from Co. Derry,
again, direct from the producer
3 days a week local home baker Joan
Quigley supplies scones, buns, gingerbread etc. but get there
early, they literally do disappear like hot
cakes!
