To continue to provide 24 hour emotional support Samaritans needs funds and the charity's volunteers are working hard to raise money for this year's 23:7 through a variety of events. The Derry Branch of Samaritans will be holding collections outside local shopping centres and by hosting a barbeque in the evening in St.Columb's Park House. The event is on from 7pm - 10pm and there will be music provided by Nashville singer Justin Black. The Mayor Gerard Diver will also be attending the barbeque to lend his support.
