Business Administation
with Tourism
The Post Leaving Certificate Department in Carndonagh Community School is offering a course in Business Administration with Tourism in the academic year 07/08 (FETAC LEVEL 5). The course consists of modules in Administration, word and text processing, Accounting, Spreadsheets, Databases and Communications. PLC students may repeat LC Maths while doing this course. Are you aged from 16 - 25 years? Have you left school early? Would you like to gain a national qualification such as FETAC. Safe Pass, ECDL, or OCR. YouthReach offers practical training for young people in a wide range of skill areas, including catering, computers, hairdressing, woodworking, metalwork, office skills, childcare, literacy, personal development and more. Yoga - Basic and Advanced, Digital Photography, Beginners Plus Computers Accredited, Computer Applications, Soft Furnishings, Flower Arranging, Keeping in Touch, Conversational French, Conversational Spanish and Cookery. Muff Irish Language Group Glór Mhaighe, the Muff Irish Language Group meet every Tuesday in St. Mary's Community Hall at 5.30pm. All levels are catered for. Serenity House

The following courses will be starting shortly: Basic Computers (Tuesday mornings), Chess for Adults, Sage computerised accounts stage 1 and 3, Introduction to Electronics and Computer Maintenance. The Foundation Studies of Higher Education in September. A one year full time course disigned for mature students returning to education and ultimately continuing to third level. A counselling service is available at the Moville and District Family Resource Centre. This service is free and is supported by the Family Support Agency. St. Eugene's Hall The latest finding from Moville Alcohol Project are that children as young as 12 are being offered alcohol. The Project is holding the following meetings: Women: Tuesday 10th June at 11.30am in Serenity House. Men: Monday 16th June at 11am in Moville Day Centre. S.T.E.E.R Ireland

Self Esteem)
If you, or someone close to you, is effected by depression or anxiety STEER's Supported Recovery Programme will help you recover confidence, self-esteem and emotional well-being. Run in partnership with Donegal VEC, the programme is based in Letterkenny and takes place over ten weeks. Classes include: Stress Management and Relaxation, Communication Skills, Art as Therapy and Introduction to Computers. The programme is free of charge and all services are provided by full trained staff who understand the difficulties of coping with mental health-issues.
